Instrument Warranty

Activator Methods International, Ltd. guarantees all new Activator® adjusting instruments against defects in material and workmanship under normal use for one year from the date on the delivery invoice.  This return policy includes any instrument that malfunctions or breaks under normal use, but does not include instruments that have been misused, dry fired, dropped, submerged in water, or disassembled.

All warranties on replacement instruments revert back to the original purchase date, and no new extended warranties are given with these replacement instruments.  Activator Methods warranty applies to new instruments purchased from Activator Methods or an authorized Activator Methods International Ltd. distributor.

The limited warranty described herein shall be in lieu of any other warranty, expressed or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.  Activator Methods International, Ltd. makes no other warranties, expressed or implied.  Warranty is not transferable.

Activator Methods Shipping and Return Policy & Conditions:

Although certain shipping service options guarantee specific delivery time frames, Activator Methods is not responsible for delays in transit caused by weather, mechanical failures, strikes, natural disasters, local carrier miss-scans or inaccurate shipping information. Customers are responsible for verifying that all shipping information is correct before submitting an order. Orders shipped via FedEx cannot be delivered to P.O. Box addresses and must be shipped via USPS. All shipping service levels for orders purchased through Activator Methods are shipped without a signature required for release. Packages left at the door of residential and/or commercial destinations are up to the discretion of the individual delivery person of each carrier and is therefore entirely outside of Activator Methods’ control. Activator Methods is not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen orders during transit or left at the destination. If delivery confirmation is needed for release of an order at the destination address, a ‘Signature Required’ option is available for an additional fee of $8.00. Please select the Signature Required shipping option by selecting add to cart from the products page of the website. If ordering by phone, please mention the “Signature Required” option item to your Customer Service representative.

No returns on all software products.

No returns on used or purchased demonstration items.

No returns accepted on any personal items including but not limited to:

  • Tips
  • Pad Grips
  • Adjusting Shoes

Returns of instruments will be accepted for in-house credit only within 14 days of the invoice date, minus a 20% restocking fee and minus a credit card fee up to 5%, provided the items are in new condition and in the original packaging.  Instruments that are scratched, dented, cracked, broken, dropped, tampered with, or opened will not be accepted and will be returned.  No third party shipping will be accepted.  Please allow 3 business working days for review of returned items for acceptability.  No cash refunds will be issued.  In-House credit can be used towards the registration fee of future seminars or future product purchases.

Please allow 10-14 business days for all warranty instrument replacements.

Shipping and Handling fees are non-refundable.

Duties and Taxes resulting from shipping internationally

All orders placed with Activator Methods International, Ltd. Are shipped from the United States.  These orders are subject to any and all duties and taxes deemed appropriate by the local customs authorities of the names recipient’s destination country and are not included in the shipping costs reflected on the order.  These duties and taxes are the sole responsibility of the person or persons placing the original order.  Activator Methods International, Ltd. makes no claim of responsibility for the payment of any such duties and taxes imposed by any country as a result of the purchaser’s order.  These fees are the sole responsibility of the named recipient on the order.

 Important return conditions:

  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from Customer Service prior to returning any merchandise. When phoning or emailing for an authorization number to return merchandise, please contact the Customer Service department  and be prepared to give:
  • Your name and/or business name as it appears on the invoice or packing slip.
  • Your telephone number and a person to contact.
  • The reason for return.
  • Device serial number
  • Invoice number

Activator Repair Service Policy and Guidelines for the Activator V-E only

We offer a repair service for the Activator V only (excludes ARI, ARII, ARIV and EZ Models):

      • The flat rate for repair for the ARV is $450.00 plus $30.00 shipping and handling for continental US destinations. Destinations outside the continental US require additional shipping fees. Any and all fees resulting from shipping are the responsibility of the instrument owner. See the section on Duties and Taxes resulting from shipping internationally of Activator Methods shipping and return policy about additional shipping fees.
      • Repairs have a 60-day warranty.
      • Service policy and flat rates for repair are subject to change without notice.
      • Rates are shown in U.S. dollars.
      • For models not in the list above, we do not offer repair service.

Call or email Customer Service to request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and arrange payment. You will need to provide the device serial number (if applicable), a return shipping address, and a daytime telephone number.

Important return conditions:

      • Activator recommends insuring your product for its replacement value.
      • Activator will accept no liability for products damaged or lost in transit to our service repair facility.
      • Activator warrants repairs performed for a period of 60 days from the date of repair. Activator only warrants parts/repairs that were addressed during the repair process.   Units that have been shipped to Activator that have been subject to misuse, submerged, dropped, been incorrectly handled, modified or suffered any other extraneous damage, not associated with normal wear and tear, will not be covered under the Repair Policy.
      • Units that are considered Beyond Economical Repair (not repairable) will not be covered under the Repair Policy. Activator will charge the return postage fee as applicable.
      • Our normal Repair turnaround time is a minimum of 15 working days from the day of receipt and is subject to change.
      • Activator Methods Repair Service Contract must be filled out in full and signed and returned with the instrument for repair.

Seminar Registration Fees and Policies

All seminars are non-refundable. Cancellation requests due to illness or emergencies must be submitted in writing and are evaluated on an individual basis.  If approved, your registration fees paid remains valid for one year from the date of purchase. You may apply its value toward the purchase of another non-refundable seminar. A $100 USD administration fee applies for transfers, plus any difference in seminar price, which is subject to change.  Seminar registration payments received after the cutoff dates are subject to additional charges.  All student discounted registrations are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

For valuable consideration received, I give Activator Methods and its Partners their assigns, licenses, and legal representatives, the irrevocable right to use my picture, portrait, video, or photograph in all forms, media and manners, without restrictions as to changes or alterations, for advertising, trade, promotion, exhibition, or any other lawful purposes.

I waive any right to inspect or approve the photographs or electronic matter that may be used in conjunction with them now or in the future, whether that use is known to me or unknown, and I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the photographs.

Continuing Education Information

CE credits have been applied for in AZ directly with the Arizona State Board. CE credits have been applied for in all other states, except AR and ME, through the Palmer Institute for Professional Advancement. TX can only be obtained at a Texas Location; OK can only be obtained at a Texas location, PA can only be obtained at a Hawaii, Ohio, and Virginia location. Palmer College will not process CE attendance certificates or release verifications to state boards without a signature. It is recommended that you contact your State Board of Chiropractic Examiners for confirmation on acceptance of the application for continuing education credits. Seminar fee includes one state filing for 8 hours of Continuing Education. Hawaii will include filing for 12 hours of Continuing Education.
CE hours will be granted for the number of hours a doctor is in attendance at the seminar. Late arrivals and early departures will affect the amount of CE Credit earned.  Incomplete or missing license information disqualifies the attendee from receiving continuing education credit.

Seminar fee includes one state filing for 8 to 12 hours of continuing education. Additional state filings are subject to a $75 USD per state fee.

Premium Web Page Subscription Terms and Conditions

Pricing: Prices reflect listing on the Activator.com website. Subscription pricing is based on a July 1 to June 30 billing cycle and all subscriptions received after July 1 will be pro-rated. Prices are good for one year.

Renewal: Credit cards will be kept on file and used to automatically renew the contract annually on July 1 of the following year, unless the listing is canceled.

Cancellation: All cancellations must be received by Activator Methods International in writing at least 30 days prior to renewal date. Should prices change, notification will be mailed to credit card holders 60 days before renewal. New listings on Activator.com will be available within 15 business days from the date of this agreement.

Web Address & Third Party Advertising: From time to time, new technologies may be added to the Activator website that may require updates to the customer’s web address. Should this occur, Activator Methods will make every effort possible to alert the customer. It is, however, the customer’s responsibility to update any third party web advertising services of such changes should this occur. Updating third-party online advertising services including, but not limited to any type of pay­ per-click (PPC) service is strictly the responsibility of the customer.

Rating Status: Acceptance in the Activator Methods Web Marketing Program is contingent on the chiropractor maintaining his or her Proficiency or Advanced Proficiency Ratings. Chiropractors who lose their Proficiency or Advanced Proficiency Rating will no longer be eligible for listing on Activator.com and their listings will be deleted. No refunds will be given. Should the chiropractor regain his or her Proficiency or Advanced Proficiency Rating before the term of this contract is complete, the listing will be re-established and will automatically renew on the anniversary date of this agreement. Time lost will NOT be prorated.
